2024 QB- Kyle Hawkins

Overall rating

4.0/5

Based on Consolidated

+ Positives

Kyle Hawkins is a tall QB with a big arm. He can drive the ball down the field and is very mobile. He has a lot of patience in the pocket and can see the field well. Kyle does a good job off-script when the play breaks down. He is a dual-threat QB but uses his legs to buy time to throw rather than to run. He has also done some work under center which would allow him to be more comfortable in a pro-style system if that is asked of him at the next level. Kyle has a very quick release and the ball jumps out of his hand. He is very accurate in throwing the ball into the middle of the field. He can stand in a chaotic pocket and deliver a strike. Kyle has a 3.0 GPA and a 29 ACT. This will open a lot of doors for him as well.

- Negatives

Kyle is tall but he still is relatively thin. He will need to add some weight during his time at prep school to become a sturdier prospect. At times Kyle can be too aggressive throwing into traffic. He trusts his arm a lot which is a good thing but he will need to take what the defense gives him a little more at the next level.
