Both teams put in dedicated effort during today’s practice session in preparation for the upcoming Phenom Legacy game. The impending showcase of talent at South Gwinnett High School this Saturday promises to be nothing short of exceptional. Team Hustle brought an assertive demeanor and an energetic tempo, while Team Hype exuded confidence and demonstrated remarkable finesse during their initial practice. Here’s a breakdown of the top 10 offensive standouts:

TEAM HUSTLE

  1. Quarterback Jacobie Hunter (Carver Columbus): Hunter left a strong impression on day one, exhibiting exceptional athleticism, especially while on the move. His throws showcased a blend of accuracy and power, notably with impressive back shoulder throws catching everyone’s eye.
  2. Wide Receiver Jaylen Jackson (Clarke Central): Jackson’s speed was on full display throughout the day. His ability to create opportunities, coupled with excellent ball tracking skills and consistent hands, stood out prominently.
  3. Athlete Malachi Miller (Cedar Grove): Miller’s versatility was evident as he effortlessly transitioned between roles, excelling both as a defensive back and wide receiver during the 1v1 drills. A true utility player, capable of lining up in various positions on the field.

  3. Running Back Quinton Slaughter (Providence Christian): Slaughter’s ability to make impactful plays was evident throughout the day. His vision, acceleration, and agility, along with reliable hands in the backfield, showcased a dynamic skill set.
